Right in the heart of the delightful doomsday village of Mortehoe, this spacious turn of the century town house provides 3 bedroom accommodation for up to 8 people, ideal for 2 families or extended family. Just a short drive to Woolacombe and it’s 3 mile beach or just walk out onto the South West Coast path and head off in any direction to find incredible walks, views and hidden beaches.
The entrance from the front is on street level into a hallway and immediately upstairs into the 2-floor accommodation.
The through living room/kitchen diner runs front to back of the house with double oven, electric hob, full size dishwasher, Fridge freezer (70/40), wine cooler and Tassimo coffee machine.
The large dining table can seat 8 comfortably. In the living room area are two three-seater sofas and two armchairs, a coffee table, wood burner, wall mounted TV and storage unit. On this same level is a separate snug/TV/gaming room with corner sofa, pouffe and TV ideal for multi generation living.
Up to the half landing you find a “loo on the landing” .
On the 1st floor are the 3 bedrooms. A master bedroom with en-suite and a super-king size bed at the rear of the house. At the front, a similar size 2nd bedroom with super-king bed. The third bedroom (the turret room) is a childrens room really with full size bunk beds and a single bed with trundle bed underneath that can pull out to allow the room to sleep 4. The family bathroom is on the level and has a bath, shower, sink and WC.
The nearest parking is the Mortehoe Village car park. A permit for 4 days or 7 days can be purchased on the North Devon District Council (NDDC) website. This is only a few minutes’ walk away through Mortehoe village.
The village offers three good pubs all serving locally produced food where possible. Adjacent to the car park is the Mortehoe Museum and an under11s play park. Walks along the SW coast park are abundant from here as are local beaches and cliff paths.
It’s a truly great spot to take advantage of beaches, walks, dog walks, coast path and all that the area has to offer. With Exmoor only ½ hour away there is so much to do.
1 dog allowed for £20 but is not allowed in the bedrooms please.
