Another great apartment for Holiday Home Hunter in the popular Crossways Court development on Woolacombes seafront Esplanade overlooking Combesgate Beach and The Watersmeet Hotel.  

As a penthouse apartment built into the eaves of the original hotel, High Tides has striking angular ceilings and absolutely lovely views.    
Sleeping four in two bedrooms, High Tides makes a fabulous family holiday home or a perfect romantic base for couples who want to enjoy beach life and walks around the coast.  

For those who love Barricane Beach and its famous beach café right on the beach, look no further as it’s just minutes away serving. Sri Lankan curries are served at weekends and most nights in the summer weather permitting. Perfect for watching the sun going down. Alternatively, Combesgate, popular for surfing and rock pooling is right opposite the apartment down steep steps.   

There are steps up to the apartments and then around the back is a further run of external metal open tread stairs to the apartment door. This apartment is at the top with two storey properties below. Once inside the apartment it is on one level. Down a short corridor and straight into the living room with double patio doors to the balcony where full enjoyment of the views can be enjoyed. The new dining table and chairs are in front of these balcony doors so the same view can be enjoyed from inside sitting at the table. In the living room area is a sumptuous sofa suite and coffee table. There is a new 32" wall mounted Smart TV (no DVD player).

The kitchen is at the back of the room looking across the room and out to sea. This bright and airy room is white and fresh with coastal themed décor.
The kitchen has a full size dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, Microwave, fridge freezer and is set to cater for four people.  It now provides a Lavazza A Modo Bio coffee machine (a few pods to get you started are provided).

There are two lovely bedrooms, a double room with king-size bed and furniture with en-suite shower, WC, sink basin and towel ladder style radiator. The twin bedroom room with roof light window has chest of drawers, wardrobe and a bedside table. The twin room has use of the newly fitted family bathroom with white suite comprising bath with shower over, WC and sink basin and towel ladder radiator.

With open tread metal external stairs, we don't think this place is suitable for really young toddlers or babies hence no cot or highchair provided.

At the back of the property is a patio area with seating and a rotary drier for the use of guests.
A useful lockable surf store is available for your private use. ‍

This apartment is over the road from Combesgate Beach, popular for surfing and body boarding at the right tide but there are over 100 steps down. However, just around the corner is the popular Barricane Beach, a delightful sheltered cove with a café in season serving tea and coffee, cakes, ice-creams and lovely food. Main beach is a good 10 mins walk after that.  

All apartments at Crossways Court have one private allocated parking space and there are 3 additional shared visitor spaces when available. 
 A £100 security deposit is held and released after the holiday.
£20 per dog per holiday. Max 1 dog only.  

I love the light and fresh clean modern feel of this place, I feel on top of the world in this private smart apartment with amazing views!
