WHERE: Shepherding Experience Walks
WHEN: Every Thursday of the month
WHAT’S HAPPENING: In partnership with the North Devon Coast AONB we're adding Shepherding Experience walks to our calendar of events. I'll take small groups (up to 20 people) for a two hour tour of Morte Point. It's a chance to hear about shepherding life, about the sheep and about the training of the Borough Farm sheepdogs. My top dog 'Fly' will be with us for the walk and she'll give a demonstration of her amazing work on the cliff tops, through the rough terrain and working far into the distance. Fly has become a really top notch sheepdog in recent years, and when she's on form she is quite simply breath-taking. And with Zola making great progress I'm hoping that she too will be putting in an appearance.
Of course there will be a chance to meet Mist or Jake, the stars of the Channel Five series Mist- Sheepdog Tales.
