One of the best ways to explore the coastline is via the South West Coast Path, which passes through the entire North Devon area on its 630 mile (I, 000 km) journey around the South West of England.

The South West Coast Path is a National Trail, designated by the Countryside Agency it is managed and maintained by the Northern Devon North Devon AONB Unit and the National Trust. With several million people visiting it each year, it is one of the regions most popular tourist attractions.
