of space and tranquility and yet is only minutes to the beach at Woolacombe
Bay and village. With two bedrooms, this fabulous apartment can easily
sleep up to 5/6 people comfortably.
The main feature of this apartment is the large loft style living room with
its angles and array of windows bringing in the light on even the dullest
of days. (A new dormer window is being put in for Summer 2010 giving full
views across the beach!) You really feel on top of the world here. Important
to note that there are many stairs leading up to The Penthouse! However,
there is an alternative for loading and unloading by driving around to the
road behind and walking down a slightly sloped pathway between houses, along
the back of the garden and in through a gateway into the communal garden
then into the private Penthouse garden which is partly decked and perfect
for al fresco dining. The patio doors from the back lead into the large
kitchen/diner which also boasts a side balcony with patio door and sea views.
The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine and 50/50 fridge
freezer. The heart of this room is the central island where wining and dining
take place. There is a large Plasma TV and DVD in the main living room.
This place also has WiFi. All on one level, the two bedrooms are off a corridor, which leads through
the apartment to the wonderful kitchen/diner. One is a double en-suite shower
and the other a double plus single guest bed. There is a family bathroom
with shower over bath just across from the twin room. There is a small double
sofa bed, better for one person, in one quiet area of the living room.
The Penthouse provides a spacious and interesting home for your holiday
in Woolacombe where time can be enjoyed not only out but inside the accommodation
as well. Bed-linen and towels provided, please bring your own beach towels.
Sorry no pets. No smoking. Hot water and electricity inclusive. Parking
for one car and a shared visitor space by arrangement. Cot and high chair. Saturday
changeover day.
