Phew!!!!
Any kind people out there reading our blogs will probably notice the gap between this one and the last one, quite big eh? Well the simple reason for that is…..WE’VE BEEN AWFULLY BUSY!!
We thought and hoped our new office in the centre of Woolacombe would prove a wise move and to be honest we have been bowled over! So many customers new, old and potential have dropped by and our new website has really taken off too!
Things are finally cooling down here and so at long last, a Blog. A busy August was followed by an equally busy September and we now find ourselves heading into a very autumnal October. With our last big week to come for the October half term it also seemed a good cue to remind people about the fantastic Bonfire Night celebrations that will take place on the 5th November in the Meadow. There will be a themed Bonfire, live music from the Roving Crows, 2 Bars, 2 BBQs and ultimately, Greg Webb and teams’ amazing firework display! If you fancy being part of this lovely village event why not add a few days onto your half term break? Or how about a long weekend taking in the 5th?It’s an event not to be missed and it seems to be getting more and more popular every year. Check out the special offers page for details of short breaks or call us to book. Don’t stay at home and be a damp squib, come to wonderful Wooly and make it go with a BANG!!
Sandcastles, Seals and Sales…..
July the 8th saw the delightfully traditional Woolacombe Sandcastle Competition 2012 event on Woolacombe’s main beach. How quickly this seems to come round, year after year and how amazing that the contestants all seem to be so full of original ideas for their creations. This super event held annually in aid of North Devon Hospice is a true favourite in the local calendar!
Now for the ‘Seals’, how wonderful! Several seals have been spotted in the water around our lovely coastline in Woolacombe Bay and Porpoises were spotted off Barricane, reminding us all how beautifully natural our waters still are.
And finally ‘Sales’!! We are really pleased to announce our lovely property owners have in the main agreed to sell 2013 for 2012 prices for the foreseeable future. So, ‘if you snooze you lose’ seems to be the order of the day. HHH staff are ready to take your 2013 bookings or if you prefer you can also book completely online.
