The fishing lake at Blakewell lies secluded in a beautiful tranquil valley, a fold within North Devon's rolling countryside. Rainbow trout are stocked all year round and brown trout from April until September. All trout are produced at Blakewell and visitors can also learn about trout production from egg to adult stage as Blakewell is a fully working trout farm.

Children and beginners are welcome and equipment can be provided which makes this a wonderful family experience. In addition to a tackle shop the superb farm shop offers everything from home oak smoked trout, fresh trout, local meat, vegetables and dairy products all produced within 15 miles of the farm.
